Gaylord Memorial Library offers a free Homebound Delivery Program for patrons who are unable to visit the library.
The library offers an excellent selection of fiction and non-fiction books, as well as large-print books, audiobooks (on tape and CD), magazines, videotapes, CDs, and DVDs. If you would like a title that is not in the Gaylord collection, librarian Criss Quigley can usually obtain it for you from another library.

Your library card gives you access to three databases through which you can find journal, magazine and newspaper articles, encyclopedia information, and ebooks:
- Newsbank- offers selected full text of Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Springfield Republican, and Worcester Telegram-Gazette
- InfoTrac- academic and all-purpose databases Expanded Academic and General Reference Center as well as two health databases, three business databases, and several databases for students and teachers
- netLibrary- provider of electronic books which can be "checked out" and read online
