Story Times at Gaylord!

The Story Time program is free and tons of fun, and reading aloud to children has been proven to improve school performance.

Friday Frolic Pre-School Story Time  - Every Friday morning at 10:30 a.m.

A story time for children age 5 and younger. Enjoy a story or two, children’s songs or rhymes, and a simple open-ended craft. There is no registration for this program; just come on down!

Fantastic Adventures Story Time - Every First Thursday evening of the month at 6:30 p.m.

The story is geared for children ages 5 to 10. Younger siblings can attend and enjoy the play area. Each program features an open-ended craft and snacks.

Other Youth Services

The Youth Services Section is the place to have fun, learn and discover the joy of books.

Services also include:

  • The newest titles
  • Up-to-date reference books for homework
  • Books on Cassette and CD
  • DVDs

"Begin with Books" Educational Theme Kits

Each backpack kit contains books, a toy or activity, and audio or video materials.
